- Neuro: refers to the nervous system and how we experience and process information through our five senses.
- Linguistic: verbal and non verbal communication systems which we use to organise and make sense of the world around us.
- Programming: the ability to understand and organise our thoughts and communication systems in order to achieve best goals and results.
NLP is a method of retraining/reprogramming your brain and overcoming negative thoughts and feelings. It is very helpful in overcoming fears, removing phobias, reducing stress, overcoming addiction, post traumatic stress disorder, making better decisions, becoming more motivated, being more creative and changing limiting beliefs.
Everyone is different, as we all have our own internal maps of the world, using our senses to filter and process information. Using a person centred approach; I work with each individual, based on their requirements, and starting from where they are placed, at the present in their lives.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy works at a deep level, embedding the desired changes in the unconscious mind, so assisting and enabling the process. Hypnosis brings about a state of deep relaxation which allows the individual to focus and close down the conscious mind. The unconscious mind plays a major role in our lives. This role is always supportive in intent, but is often misunderstood because the unconscious does not "think", or reason, and instead reacts on the basis of past experience. Light trance states enable us to communicate directly with the unconscious and work with it to create more effective and life-enhancing programmes.
Hypnosis is a normal, natural state of deep relaxation and concentration. It is a completely safe and respectful process. You cannot be hypnotised against your will be and cannot be persuaded to do anything which is not congruent for yourself.

TTouch is a non invasive and gentle healing touch therapy developed by Linda Tellington Jones, originally working with horses, companion animals, and other animals. It involves a series of slides, lifts and circular movements. This was further developed in working with people, as practitioners worked on each other to develop their skills and to further understand the process.
TTouch was found to be hugely beneficial for humans, and has been used in this respect for more than 20 years. The value of TTouch is widely recognised by professionals in healthcare and education around the world.
The principle is that working on a cellular level is effective with any living being, activating the healing potential of the body at the cellular level, and that each cell knows its purpose as a microcosm of the being and also as a microcosm of all life, as part of a Divine Whole. TTouch is a gentle form of body work, activating cellular function and reminding the body of its potential for perfection.
This form of therapy affects the emotional and spiritual aspects of well being, as well as balancing the physical body. TTouch is also a powerful tool to enhance all your interpersonal relationships.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), involves tuning into issues and tapping with fingertips on various energy meridians of the body while focusing on a personal problem. It works by balancing the energy system, removing disturbances to the energy flow. It is a mind body medicine process using similar principles to acupuncture without the use of needles. It is an immensely powerful, yet simple technique which also brings about a sense of calmness and clarity in addressing issues.
EFT is very effective in clearing out the emotional debris which can often lead to physical ailments.
EFT has been proven to be effective across a wide range of issues relating to anxiety and stress, including such emotional issues as fear, trauma, depression, grief.
I use a combination of these therapies in sessions and will work flexibly with clients in order to determine what is required at any time, with sensitivity, intuition, and awareness.
